I already have a Panasonic 7301 HU and Infiniti Kappa 6.5 coaxials. I can spend another $500 to $750. I have no problem with taking the spare tire out. What would you suggest? By the way i have the above setup in my daily driver and it does not sound good. It needs an amp i guess...

Kappa's, at least newer ones, are 2ohm and should have an amp.

What year S2K? You'll probably want components. I like Alpine Type-S, others love Polk DB series, go audition and replace the speakers then use your existing HU or replace if you want.

 

175$ for box, 150$ for 8/10" sub, 300$ for amp... miscellaneous cables and what not and you can stay under 750
