That's great link for genric questions, maybe we don't need to build a new machine, but some paint and a tune up would be good for the one we've got.

I am going to hardwire in my radar detector this weekend...I can put together a "how to" to submit for approval.

sounds kinda like a book for the kids my wife teaches.

Kronos, make sure you get a photo of where to wire it in the fuse panel. That's the most confusing part. Also wrap some electrical tape around the final bit of lead just before it comes out of your windshield bar gasket. It will hold the cord firmly in place.

for resource linkage -- just give me a list for the things you want linked...

what are the common questions that need to be addressed... (i know a bunch, but want to see what others have to say).

i still like Jim's idea of just adding a listing/finding the threads that hit the major FAQ's like they have for UTH.
