Illuminated door sills
I think the door sills on the S2000 are very classy and I'd like to subtly illuminate them. I am not totally sure what would look best, but I think I'd like it to look somewhat like an SC 430's sills. I've looked at the metal plate and I see that I could dremel through the S2000 lettering to illuminate it from behind, but I don't really trust myself enough to do that. Has anyone tried anything like this? I haven't seen anything in the forums. Anyway, here are some concrete questions:

Where should any wiring tap into the existing system? I'd like to have it illuminate when the door opens.

What approach should I take to doing this? Should I look into adding an LED to the plastic ridge above the plate, for instance?

Is this a silly idea in the first place? If the metal piece is too finicky or easy to screw up, should I just leave it alone?
Thanks for any info you can provide!
