Default Infinity Basslink

Hello,
I was wondering if any one could show me any pics of their infinity basslink setup...
I was thinking of getting one mounted vertically on the left side, but dont know if it will fit. I found a deal for $160 locally new is this a fair price?
thanks for your help

I know a couple people that have that mounted on the side, but fair warning- their #1 issue is that they overheat so easily and cut out...

I'd also be interested in seeing pics or at least how they were installed.

I have mine in the tool box area, driving to Michigan and back with clothes, tools, helmet, etc on top and around, no problems with overheating, but I guess I wasn't playing it at full volume with full gain or something either.

^^ how is it secured? I previously simply used velcro on the legs, and that worked fine in my other car.. but I never tried it in the S

and.. anyone know if there's a How-To or diagram of how to wire this up? Search didn't pull up anything useful for me.

With velcro on the legs.

I am not 100% sure if I took pics of the install or not, but I basically ran the positive wire from the battery, across the engine bay, through the grommet on the drivers side around the cluch master cylinder, then to the drivers side kick panel, under the door sill, behind the panels behind the seat, under the trunk panels, under the tool box, then into the hole where the toolbox tab goes, to the sub. turn on I ran with the RCAs, ground from the rear oem strut bar nut, all going through that hole in the trunk panel.

I can take some pics next time I see the car if needed.

Alright cool, that's what I had in mind.. but not sure if it would work on the S.
Did you not run a remote wire from the HU?

BTW - pics would be awesome if you could post them

I'll check for the pics, they are on my home PC somewhere. I did wire the remote, I have it mounted on one of the black plastic panels behind the seats (pass side) in place of one of the screw covers.

Err by remote I thought you mean the wired remote for the sub control.

I ran the remote turn on from the HU with the RCAs.

I actually have some pics on this work laptop.

Here's where I mounted the remove level controller for the basslink X, in the first pic you can see the location in the car without the controller installed, it's on the outer passenger side in the "top" hole, it just barely fits without hitting anything in the car, the second pic shows the controller installed into the panel but not installed in the car.

Here's some pics of the sub installed, although the wiring wasn't fully cleaned up yet.
