Are they good speakers? I really dont know anything about sound and i want a better system without subs just head unit and speakers. What do you think?

Yes, the kappas are great speakers. Should you get them? No. Why? Because they need an amp.

 

well guys these are what i got..
the kappa door speakers..
alpine 9885+dci
Alpine 4 channel pdx.100 100/4 AMP
kappa 5.1 for the s-pods..

so far i din't have the s-pod on yet and it sound so @#$%ing Nice just like u putted 2 small Subs on.. lolzz

What about the Alpine Type R's? What are people's feelings about them?
