Innovate cable
I am trying to daisy chain 2 Innovate MTX gauge together.
Innovate technical page says... to connect the out cable to the in cable of the next gauge.
I tried to make the 4 pin cable. Does anybody knows if I should swap the pin 1 out to pin 2 in ?
I cannot seems to find any info on the pin-out. Any help would be appreciated.
Assuming the out plug is
1 - tx
2 - rx
3 - gnd
4 - gnd
In plug
1 - rx
2 - tx
3 - gnd
4 - gnd.

Oldish thread I know, but did you have any luck with this?
I'm wanting to connect three gauges together to use them with the data logger, but the cables are 4 foot long, and my gauges are mounted in a smallish jiffy box, so an extra 8 feet of cable isn't going to work!
thanks!

this is in the manual...
3. Serial Out
1 RX
2 TX
3 GND
4 GND
4. Serial In
1 TX
2 RX
3 GND
4 *MTS Sense
but I dont know what the MTS Sense pin does? or what needs to be done with it?
edit:
cables are simply pin to pin...
so, pin 1 to pin 1, pin 2 to pin 2 etc.
you need to connect the MTS Sense to ground for it to be enabled, which is what happens when you connect pin 4 to pin 4
