inputs on stock radio?
I'll be picking up an '06 in ~4 weeks. I have an XM Skyfi2 in my current car and I want to set up a dock for it in my s2 so I can take the XM in whichever car I'll be driving. Are there any inputs on the stock head unit I can hook up to?
I did some searching and I saw some people recommending some kind of adapter to wire up RCA inputs. Is this the only way if there are no existing RCA inputs already? Because the head unit in my current car had no inputs and I was able to find the pinout diagram for the cd changer plug and solder in RCA inputs instead of buying the adapter. Can this be done?
Thanks-

No one knows shit about the MY06 radio because none have been delivered yet as far as I know.
If it is the same as the 04/05 radio, there are no rca inputs, only the CD changer jack. It would be far easier just to use the adaptor than to try to open up your warranted radio and hook in rca jacks.
It may be a new radio though since I seemed to hear some BS about a 60Watt system or 60 watt rears, or some such made up output rating.
You might be able to call the MY04/05 radio a 60 watt system if you add up the peak power outputs of all 4 channels.

Thanks for the info. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. After looking at the HON-AUX adapter it looks like theres some stuff going on inside that box so I wouldn't be able to wire inputs straight in.
