I have the boxwave screen protectors on my PDA. They can be cut to fit and come polarised if needed.

Awesome man!!

I'm gonna try this one out but with the Tomtom Go 500... Both units are similar in size.. Garmin will have the better fit but the Tomtom has bluetooth!

Thanks for the write up!! Awesome!!

Hey i have the same unit and am probably going to try doing this, but i wanted to ask with the cup holder cover, does it actually like latch closed like normal or does it just sit there? does it fall open while moving or anything? i just noticed you cut some of the spring loaded operating parts off so i didnt know how that still functioned.

I made an elastic bond to bpth sides, kind of a mechanism and it works perfect!

You mind posting up some pics of that and going into a bit more detail on how it was done? And by the way, did you cut the foam that the unit sits on out a little to hold it a bit more stable so it didnt fall backwards? I know the screw holes in front keep it in place there, but i put a zip tie around the unit to hold it in place, wanted to know if you had something better?

I had the foam deep trimmed for additional support and nothing else. It was like a base in the end that supported the unit.

Anyway I don't have any pics as well regarding the mechanism, sorry.
