Default Installation with Modifry DCI

Hi all, I've inherited a Modifry DCI and harness from the previous owner.
Looks to be fit for Alpine HU.

Click me for pics!

The DCI looks to be an older version (8 pin?) as opposed to the newer one, so the instructions are slightly different...
I think the SCV is also installed? That long grey wire in the pics? What about the 3.5mm jack? What is it for? Whats the Parking Brake Wire for? The blue wire is the amp remote wire correct?

It's been a long while since I've installed a system.

Let me know if I've got this correct:
Modifry DCI + Harness into the back of the HU and into OEM harness. Blue wire from harness goes to amp.
RCA from back of HU to Amp, Amp speaker outs go through the cable boot through to the door, goes to the x-overs of the component system.

All correct?

Cheers all.

Here's a link to DCI-2 instructions. It's for the Sony/Pioneer version, but other than the dipswitch settings
for the headunit brand, they should be the same.
3.5mm jack goes into the headunit remote control input.
long gray wire is for the SCV.
If the blue wire comes out of the DCI, it's for headunits that support a hardwired TEL/Mute function.
If the blue wire comes out of the headunit's harness, it's likely an amp remote turn-on wire.
The parking brake wire suggests that the previous owner was using a DVD headunit that required the
parking brake to be on to play movies.
