Installed my new amp and speakers last night, but now the speed controlled volume feature on my modifry DCI is no longer working. Dash controls still work fine, so I know I didn't fry the unit. I've tried to reset and reprogram the SCV settings several times, but no luck.

I'm using the alpine wired DCI with the plug and play harness. I cut the speaker wires and tapped into the power and ground of the harness to wire up the amp (Alpine KTP-445U power pack), but I didn't mess around with any of the wires leading to or from the DCI unit itself.

The only thing I can think of is that the gray speed wire is not receiving a speed signal. I had to cut the speed wire to take out the harness so I could wire up the amp harness indoors, but I reconnected the wire when I installed the amp in the dash.

I shot Modifry an email, but I figured I'd ask here too. Has anyone else had this feature stop working on their DCI?

UPDATE (SOLVED):



I tried programming the DCI again on my lunch hour and got it to work. After getting the DCI into programming mode, I was using the HU to change volume instead of the dash buttons, so there was no signal going into the DCI telling it to change the SCV settings. Tried it again using the dash controls and it worked like a charm.
