Default Help with DCI

Hey all, I bought a wired DCI from Modifry last year. I've had it installed for a while now, but I've never gotten it to interface with my dash controls properly. I took some pictures of how I have things installed, and I'm hoping someone will see something here to clue me in on something I did wrong.

I'm using an Alpine 9883 HU and I purchased the wired DCI from Modifry along with the harness.

Here is a shot of the back of the HU. Note the wired remote jack plugged in at the top right.

Next, the harness from Modifry with the HU end. Note that I have crimped the remote wire to the amp in the bottom of the picture.

The other end of the Modifry harness going to the factory wiring. The illumination wire is not connected as I do not believe it is necessary for the install.

A shot of the factory harness and disc changer wiring

Finally, a shot of the dipswitches on the DCI

Ok, I'm hoping these pictures will allow you guys to shed some light on the issue I'm having here. Let me know if you need more info or if it is pretty blatant what I am doing wrong here.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Can you tell us what it is doing or not doing in this case.

Which DCI do you have? My wired DCI only had 4 dip switches.

It is not doing anything - it does not interface with the dash controls. I can press on any of the dash buttons and nothing happens.

I have no idea what DCI I have or that there are different versions, I just bought the wired one from Modifry about a year ago that should work with my HU.

Have you tried contacting Bob with Modifry?....he is very helpful. Send him an e-mail or PM him through here.

Yeah, I've been through the paperwork that came with the DCI forwards and backwards. I was just hoping there would be something simple that I missed in the install that could be corrected by another set of eyes.

I'm guessing there may be a faulty wire somewhere, or possibly even the DCI may be bad. I hope Modifry can help me out, I'll see about contacting him.
