You will have to remove your head unit to install an amp. It is a 5 minute job. Remove the flip-door that covers the stereo and 4 screws, you're done. My '00 had no RCA's, just get a good PAC line-level converter. Depending on the size of your amp you can mount it to a circular board and place it in the spare tire, ala Cdelena and myself.
