Default Installing an alpine TME-770

Hi, i'm currently installing a tme m770 in my car and i have a few questions about the wiring.

First, it says in the owner manual on page 20 (http://www.alpine-usa.com/images/pro..._TME-M770S.pdf) it says "Hand brake lead (Yellow/Blue) Connect this lead to the hand brake lead powered when the hand brake is pulled." When doing this on an s2000, do i need to just ground that wire or connect it to a positive terminal? Also, can i just connect it directly to the wire that comes out of the handbrake?

Second, i'm also installing an alpine Dva-9861. I went down to buy a 10 gauge wire from best buy and the salesman told me that i don't need to run that 10 gauge wire if i'm not going to use the internal amp of the stereo.... is this true? I have a slight feelings he has no idea what he's talking about, however, it doesn't say anything in the owner manual about adding a 10 gauge wire...

So what do i do?

Finally, for those of you who have a reverse camera in your car, when installing it with a tme-770, which automatically turns to the reverse channel when the car is put into reverse.... where exactly should i connect the video wire that comes from my camera? Curently, i have my dva-9861 connected to aux1 so i'm guessing since there are not other places to connect this camera that i have to put it into aux2... however how will the alpine screen know that it is aux 2 that gives the rear view image and not aux1? Or do i set this somewhere in the setup of the screen?

Well thanks a lot guys for all the help,

David

8 gauge is overkill for power to a head unit
