Installing MBQuart Components...
Well, I'm ready to install these from my Si....
I'm trying to find 4-conductor speaker wire to run into the doors to install my MBQuart components... No luck on the net yet... Anybody have an idea?
Also, anyone know where to get spacers to get more depth for the 6.5" speaker? I think my MB's are too deep, requirung more than just cutting out the baskets... I need about 2.75" of depth...
They're QM218.61Q's.... btw.

Also, anyone have a good AMP recommendation? 90W RMS is what they want... I can also BI-AMP or BI-WIRE the tweeter and woofer through the MusiCOMP crossover...
Thanks,
Matt

knukonceptz.com has 4 conductor wire, i just ordered some the other day.
you can try lucid (i believe) for spacers or its pretty simple to make your own. actually in the FAQ section there's a pictoral on how to do so. probably cost you 10 bucks in materials.
amp reccomendations-there's a lot out there, what kind of budget are you talking? i just picked up a soundstream tarantula 85wrmsx4 from mmxpress.com for just under $300 shipped.

That is a question of mine, I found qsd 216 speakers cheap. Will they fit easily? also I have a JL300 amp, I had a set of reference quarts and the amp was to much power for them. They kept making a popping sound. The qsd are rated to 170 watts. Anyone have any experience with a powerful amp and the q series 216's. Thanks
