it was sort of a pain to stuff it all in, but i actually didn't have that bad of an experience w/ the clutter behind the deck. i just pushed it in and it went into place without any problems..no zip ties or anything. maybe i was lucky?

Yeah, I took the deck out again and tried to organize the wires a little better, then put the deck back in. It seemed to fit a little better, but still could feel that it didn't want to go into place so easily. Look from the sides, there is actually a lot of room towards the sides and front (but don't know if the wires will even go that way). I'll probably try it a few more times, and hopefully I'll get lucky like arrrmand. Thanks everyone for your input!

Yeah, the dci is pretty small. I stuck it out the side on the drivers side, and zipped tied it to a wire to hold it up. I guess you really don't need access to it...but just in case. It also saved me some space back there.
