Unfortunately yes... It's dead after a few hours. They are replacing it. But I know where this is going. What is happening is it runs with no problem then locks up. And when I disconenct it the iPod is locked up too. The day after it worked for an hour then the same thing.

Wow Sorry to hear that! My first one lasted two months, the second two weeks, and now they only last 2 hours!

Yes and No. I had some lock ups, but the reason I returned both was that the sound would fade out to nothing. After this, the car refused to see the Icelink at all. The unit still chargrd the iPod, it had no control or audio output.

My unit locked up a couple times... after a hour of playing... and it lockes up the pod WTH

I called Dension and they said they would replace it... are the new one
less quality?

Sound like Colin is having lot o trouble....

When I go to tract 6 I'm to have function on the Ipod per dension... nothing works on the pod and the unit in unlocked... I locked it and unlocked hoping something would change

maybe I'll relocate the control unit... not like there is a lot of space and cable to work with....

Oh I've thrown in the towel on this product. When it works, all is fine, but for me it worked around 50% of the time!

Okay... Unfortunately it sounds like the same problem. But my sound doesn't fade... the iPod is still playing, but no sound or control at all... it says it's charging but no music. This is not good at all.

Personally all I want is good quality sound.. I really don't care about controlling or charging the iPod at all for that matter.

Does anyone make a cable to mate with the factory harness?
