Issue with Mute after changing car battery
hi, was wondering if anyone can help me with my dci. been trying to email bob, to no avail. the description of my problem is below. thanks all.
Hi Bob,
I was wondering if you could help me figure out what is wrong with my DCI. I bought it and installed it myself over 2 years ago. And recently, I just changed my car battery because it died. That was the only change to my car. The DCI was working just fine prior to the battery change. Now, the Mute and MODE+VolDwn are not functioning correctly. When I hit Mute or MODE+VolDwn, the deck toggles between FM1, FM2, and AM2 radio stations. Meaning, hit Mute -> FM1, hit Mute -> FM2, etc...and the same thing happens with the MODE+VolDwn combo. When I hit Mute, the green light goes on, and if I hit it again, it
goes off, and so on. So I did some searching on s2ki.com and
it's not that the Mute button is fried.
Funny thing is that MODE+VolUp works fine as it "seeks" radio stations going up. Meaning it goes from 92.7 to the next station with a signal, like 95.4 for example.
