Thumbs down JDM ECU questions

ok so there is a jdm ecu i can buy...

my issue is i just bought a theft recovered vehicle...
means i dont have an ecu... i can get an oem for about 150 shipped
or my second option is getting a jdm one for about 200 shipped.

usdm one means i have to get the immobilizer reprogrammed along with keys.

jdm one i dont.

is there any other difrences besides the compression being higher in the jdm
ecu and it runs richer?

the code on the ecu is a pcx-J02...is there a diffrence between the pcx-J01?

hopefully i didnt post in the wrong section...lol

compression is a characteristic of the engine, not the ecu. but if both usdm and jdm engines are f20c, compression and fuel delivery would be the same, no?
