Radio/CD Shuttle in boot just dies intermittently
Hi All
Not to sure where to start looking on this one - I have the stock headunit, and a seperate Sony MP3 CD shuttle which streams over radio (FM) to the headunit.
Recently both the radio and the CD unit keep cutting out i.e. turning completel off, as if there was no power to them, I've done nothing to the car recently. It seems to be more common when in start/stop traffic, once at a stable cruising speed, say 120km/h, it happens a lot less, if ever.
Where do I start looking?
Thanks.

I just realised something... which is why I mentioned it
Arn't the CD Shuttle in the boot, and the stock head unit powered from seperate points?
The reason I know the CD-Shuttle also dies, is because the control unit (changing tracks/setting transmitting frequency) is run to the side of the gear lever from the back of the vehicle?
Surely something else is wrong if they both loose bower?
