JL 10w3v2 question ?
Hello
This is my first time in electronics and I really don't know much so if this is a noob question please direct me in the right direction. sorry
I just recently bought a single JL 10w3v2 in a box and planning to hook up to the car with a stock head and speakers. I have the wires also and am wondering what kind of amp should I run with it ?
I am planning to run the JL 300 watt /2 channel Amp with it. Will that produce a good sound? Does anyone else have this set up? Any other suggestions?
Thank you very much and your input is very much appreciated.

Depends on the impediance of the voice coils. The JL 10w3v2-D2 can be wired for 2 or 4 ohm loads. The 300/2 makes its 300WRMS between 3-8ohms. It really depends on how you wire it. Just make sure you wire the coils in series and you should be fine.
JL makes good sound, but you pay a premium for the name.
