I just got a 250/1 JL amp. I cant get that great of sound out of my speaker....anyone know why???? I have a JL 12w3 sub in a box mounted in the tool well. If i turn up the gain the speaker sounds like it makes a small clap. There is like 5 different ways to hook up the speakers. If any has a setup similar to this please let me know. I dont know what to put the gain,boost, or freq, at. I tried many different ways but still cant get the bass to even vibrate my mirrors. I have had many systems but not in a S. Is it just the car or do i maybe have a problem with my amp or sub???? U cant even here the bass outside of the car.
