Hey - glad that helped.

the only question is i have set it to a little base. Should I put it
to
a.) LOW INPUT VOLTAGE w/ LOW INPUT SENSITIVITY
or
b.) HIGH INPUT VOLTAGE w/ HIGH INPUT SENSITIVITY
Because you are running of the Honda factory head unit,
leave the amp on "high input voltage" (switch) and adjust the sensitivity (dial) accordingly. Even if you have to turn it up all the way, this is safer for the amp and sub than if you set the JL to "low input voltage". This is because the honda HU does not have any kind of pre-amp output.

Here's some info that would help --> Do you know if your installer used a line leveler of any kind?

I think you want Low Input if you're using pre-amp outs from your head unit, and High Input if you're using speaker level outputs.
In the case of the JL amp, that's often the case, but not always. For HU's with 3-8 volt pre-outs, the "high" input voltage setting is used as well.

I've found that there is actually some overlap of these two settings based on the position of the sensitivity dial, but only at the far ends of adjustment. Safest to leave the amp set to "high" in the input voltage anyway.

Happy tuning!

I could be mistaken...

Is it still rattling with your adjustments? Rattling less? Are you going to dynamat it?
thanks for the replies. It sounds much better now thanks to your guys help. I'll leave the setting on high input

I have a box of dynamat but contemplating whether or not to put it on ..

i found a rattle right behind the back bumper liscence plate where there is a black box and a rubber piece slapping the metal as the sub bumps. Ill probably try to eliminate that rattle first and see where it goes.

THANKS AGAIN!

That's the vent I mentioned earlier. Seal it up on the inside of the carif you can reach down there. If not just seal it up on the outside.

Keep me updated on the rattles. I'm on the fence for installing a sub in the S2000 right now, and having to dynamat or not could be the tipping point for me.

Amp + Box + Sub + Dynamat = ~45 lbs
