So I want to upgrade my head unit and speakers. I have a JVC KD-LH810 that I got awhile ago. I was reading all about the audiolead adapter to maintain the steering wheel controls. So some more research and it appears my head unit may not have a plug for a remote? It definitely doesn't have a 3.5mm plug spot... Any ideas?

As promised. Any help would be appreciated. Am I SOL? Trying to do this upgrade with things I have laying around so don't want to buy a new head unit.

 

Yes looks like it doesn't support steering wheel controls.
If it does have an IR remote control though you might use something like this instead http://www.modifry.com/index.php?rou...&product_id=84
But I would probably start looking for a new unit.
