I have an IDA-X001 and KCE-400BT with the adapter cable, but unfortunately my iphone 3GS won't pair. It sees it and recognizes the adapter but when I try to pair it it times out.

Does the pink wire with the black stripe (interrupt) need to be connected? I got it installed at Best Buy and they claimed it didn't. I didn't necessarily agree, but I wasn't too sure. Any input would be helpful, Alpine is closed since it's Saturday.

Where do I solder in the pink/black wire to? I don't know which wire is the interrupt on the modifry PNP harness.

 

I work at Best Buy... and i know how to install it... just finding out where you placed your mic... i noticed it gets alot of wind noise when i mount it to my modifry bracket.
