What exactly does biwirable mean? Does this mean that the mid and tweeter can be powered seperatly? If so, couldn't you route the rear channels on the stock radio to just the mids or tweets and effectivly double your wattage? It might not make much difference but shouldn't it help a little? How would this affect the future installation of the Honda/Kelton or another powered sub? Does it need those rear channels to operate?

Why is this entire post in questions?

Why not?

Also, why not try your experiment?

Yes, biwirable means the tweater and the woofer can have seperate amps. And yes again, you could use the rear outputs of the head unit to "double" your power.

Two issues with this:

1. There are no wires for the rear, have fun doing it your self. I haven't yet but will when my new head unit comes in .

2. The tweater is a very effiecent speaker, doesn't really need that much power. I'm just guessing (fairly edjumecated guess) here, but you aren't really doubling your power. Your simply taking a small load off of the amp driving the woofer. Really won't do much to increase your bass. But, you never know till you try.

I'm going to do a full range of testing on this... I'll put up a website with pics and all once I have the new JVC head unit.

Later!
