Anyone know how good this sucker is? It does seem to be the lowest end model for 2002 in terms of MP3/CD deck from Kenwood.

It's brand new (kenwood released these decks last week) and yes its the entry model. I would say spend a tad more for a better model or go with a different brand. There are notable differences between each model - they're big on MP3 this year. Speed between MP3 tracks, disc formats, and initial disc read times major things to consider in an Mp3 deck.
