Default Keyfob remote trunk button not working?

The trunk release button on my keyfob recently stopped working. The trunk release in the glovebox works fine to pop the trunk. I can also hear a click near the fuse box when I hold the keyfob trunk release button, indicating that it is receiving the signal. Anyone have any idea what the problem could be?

Does the glovebox release and remote release share the same relay?

Nevermind - found the problem

Loose wire in the harness under the driver side kick panel

Would you by chance have a diagram or anything regarding this harness location? I'm having a similar issue.

thanks

sorry for the late reply, didnt see your question earlier. Unfortunately I don't remember which wire it is on the harness and I dont have a wiring diagram, but unless you were messing with those wires it's likely not the same issue as mine (I must have knocked it loose when installing my audio cables).

Can you open your trunk with the glove box trunk release? If not, a common problem is broken wires inside the wireloom by the trunk hinge, or a bad solenoid release. Check to see if the solenoid is getting any juice. If you don't hear the relay click when you press your keyfob trunk relase, check the keyless entry fuses/relays.
