Keyless entry buttons stopped working
Hey all,
Today I was in my downstairs office (right next to the garage) when I suddenly heard my S2000 horn sound once. I thought this to be very strange since I wasn't near the car so I went out to check.
The trunk lid was open (like someone had pushed the button). I closed it up, removed the key from the ignition (I keep it there when the car is in the garage) and then pressed the keyless remote to try to open it again. Nothing happened. I tried all the buttons and none of them work!! Even the PANIC button doesn't work.
Anyone have any ideas? I checked the fuse and it is OK?? The red light on the keyless entry fob lights up when you press the buttons, so I think the battery in it is OK.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!

thats strange, fir the heck of it i would change the bettery, or try the spare remote that comes in the valet parking key. Another idea is try and disconnect the battery and reconnect it. Maybe leaving the key in for a long period of time with the truck open may have confused the system. other than that i have no clue.
Try the easiest solution first and get a new battery, there may be enough juice in there to power the LED but not enough to send a signal.
Although the situation you described sounds like it could be something in the car that has malfunctioned. It almost sounds like it received some radio interference which caused the remote locking to activate.
