Default Kicker QS 6.5"

Anyone have any luck with these? I am looking for a little more out of my components (I just installed Pioneer TS-D1720C.) And I think I am looking for a little more bang. These are Kicker's top component set, I am guessing they took the Resolution's place, and I have always loved Kicker, I have a 15" Solobaric L5 sitting right next to me (too bad it won't fit in the S ) But I found this set for 299.99 and it MSRP's for 499.99. Between this set and the Hertz HSK 165 XL I have been hearing about. Which would give me more a punch and some good high through low bass until I install the footwell sub, which won't be for a few months probably. I just want the best for the money, but I don't think the Pioneer's were what I was looking for. Any advice, or recommendations are appreciated.

EDIT - It also will be powered by a Alpine KTP-445U amp and I am running a Pioneer DEH-P8400BH HU.

The Kicker 09QS652 (assuming this is the 6.5 you're talking about) woofer might fit with an adapter ring, though the tweeter housings may be too large for the stock location. The woofer won't fit in the stock basket.

The Hertz HSK 165XL will definitely not fit.
