Default lcd help

ok i am planning on getting lcd. but this one has safety feature like if you don't have your e brake (emergency brake, hand brake, parking brake what ever it is called) on the lcd will not pop out. so i heard that i can ground the e brake wire then it will work. but where is this wire located and which one is it?

If your doing the install it should show you how to bypass the safety switch.

ground wire is green. just ground it to the frame of your car instead of hooking it up where they tell you to do so.

Why not just ground the appropriate input on the lcd and leave the ebrake alone?

or you can... the wires on my kenwood lcd are yellow for positive black for negative green for ground. the positive most likely has the inline fuse connected to it. take the negative wire and connect it with the ground wire and then run the negative to the appropriate place.
