talk to him via PM a while ago. hes busy with other stuff, so this project is on hold, but not shelved. We'll wait and see!

 

Didn't he mention something in one of his last postings about reliability issues, and ended up having a company do the final design work? I seem to remember him making/selling one or two, then it dropped off the face of the Earth.

 

yeah, same here...i've viewing his thread daily and for some reason he disappeared!!

maybe you should do something like that.

 

It's still on my to-do list, but I'm not sure I would be happy designing merely an "all white LED and colored filter" setup... maybe, we'll see. I like multi-colored, user-selectable bling, baby!

 

I was trying to get in touch with him a few month's back about this, but no reply. I figured he had just given up on it....

Has anyone spoken to Rick or Jeff about this idea? The design would probable eat up the most time.....if they can be manufactured in bulk.
