LED Reviews
so i've been buying a few different LED's off ebay. didnt mean to buy so many different types, but i wasnt happy with the first set, so i tried to get another style, then got shipped the wrong size, so I went with another vendor and finally heard back from the other vendor who shipped me the right size...
so basically I have 3 pairs of LED replacement bulbs to compare.
the first one i got was supposed to be "white" but turned out to be really too blue for me. its not that blue that its supposed to be blue, but its blue enough I wasnt happy. the output of light is actually LESS THAN STOCK, but i would still prefer it over the yellowish incandescent hue of OEM bulbs.

these two look a lot alike. theyre constructed slightly differently, but internally look similar. the right ones were constructed squarish, the left ones cylindrical. also, the right ones were slightly more yellowish, the left ones slightly bluish. you can barely tell the difference in the pics. overall, both were whiter than the previous set.

i ended up leaving the left ones in, not sure what im going to do with the others. i have an idea tho for floor lighting.

I still highly recommend the LED "board" lights. I'm sure that there's some variation in performance/reliability from manufacturer to manufacturer but with 6 bright LED's on a board and adapters to cover most socket types you can use the same LED board light for the dome/map, trunk, and license plate locations. The ones I have are much brighter than stock and very white.
I bought LEDs for my dome light and side markers and some other lights from www.autolumination.com They have great products and LEDs for every light in the car in a bunch of different colors.
They have 3 watt LEDs for turn signals that are so bright that if you buy a orange LED and put it behind a red turn signal lens it will still look perfectly orange through the red lens. They are great.

im guessing he means something like this.

i just didnt want something with an extra board. isee the benefits, easier to package, more light, and versatile. i just wanted something completely drop in and not worry about how to secure it.
