Default LED Turns...

Has anyone tried the high power 7443 bulbs for their turn signals? (part number 7443-AHP3 from superbrightleds.com)

What about the luxeon ones? (part number 7443-ALX3)

I've seen pics and heard others that tried the standard LED bulbs in their turn signals but they were way too dim. Just curious if anyone has tried the newer, supposedly brighter ones.

Thanks,
Scott

I've tried em. If you don't get resistors, they will hiperblink. LEDs without correct lenses are also nearly invisible during the day.

Thanks for the response, Dave. So even the Luxeon ones aren't as bright as the regular incandescent? (Their website says the Luxeons are brighter...)

At night, absolutely, they are bright as hell, but during daylight, you won't see them.

y Animated Turn Signals (AP1) should be out in the next few weeks. I've had a number of requests for AP2 versions, so I'll probably make those once I'm finished with the Dash Cluster Upgrade project.
