Please post some pictures once you get the new bulbs. I'd be interested in seeing how this turns out.

No matter what halogen bulb you buy, it will ALWAYS look like that dark yellow/amber color when running at 60% power.

The Sylvania Silverstars will look just like the stock bulbs do when the DRL's are on. The only difference will be when you have your highbeams on. But I hope you don't drive around with your higbeams.

Isn't that what they are for? Do you just use them to signal oncoming drivers of a law enforcement officer in the area or to ask people to move over to allow you to pass?

Changing the bulbs is a pita because there is hardly any room and you can't see what your doing...must do it by touch.

Basically, you loosen and take off the weather seal. Then pull off the harness on the back. Next you must feel around and unhook the little metal clip that holds the bulb in. Take out the old bulb and put the new one in. Reattach the clip and place the weather seal back; retighen.

Its fairly straight forward, but as I said, a pita to actually do.

Your going to run real HIDs in in the high beam section of the headlight in a drl mode? Doesn't sound to bright to me...pardon the pun
