Another newbie here with a request for opinions on the setup suggested by the local respected car audio store.

Focal Speakers

Possible sub in the future, but I want to see where this gets me first.

I drive daily and listen to primarily rock/metal but a little of everything and the top is NEVER down.

What do you think? To little? To much? Too pricy?

that'll sound real nice... only question mark is the amp. I don't know much about the orion amps.

Thanks! They seemed VERY concerned about putting a tiny amp in the well space. I told them that we could probably put the amp in other locations too but they seemed set on it.

I've never heard of Orion either, but this shop has treated me well in the past.

Of course, with all of the expertise HERE I wasn't going to jump into anything without independent review.

Orion high end amps are very very nice. Their cheap Circuit city crap, is exactly that.

 

Thanks for the review. I actually found this reliable car audio place AFTER my baby sister had a bad experience at circut city. Obviusly I don't have much experience with car audio, but I don't think that this place would carry anything that would be total crap.
