looking for a 2 channel amp
to power some polk db6500 100watt component speaker system. i'm considering a rockford fosgate p3002 75wattx2, kicker kx350.2, and audiobahn a4002t 100wx2. any others?
Other brands you should look at are JL Audio, MTX, Alpine.... don't recommend the Audiobahns though (from what I've heard and read they are very overrated).... your price point helps a lot in determining which amp is good for you as well...

these amps run about 130-200 on ebay. new and retail they're about 200-300. my speakers are rated at 100watt, so i'm looking for a 2ch amp somewhere between 75-125 watts but i'm looking for recommendations. price is not as much an issue as finding the proper amp to match the speakers.

Well,
I don't know about *matching* your speakers but there are certainly a number of quality units out there for decent costs:
Eclipse PA4212 130x2 MSRP $300
MMATS SQ2150 150x2 MSRP $699
US Amps USA-1000 150x2 MSRP 819
Zapco 350.2 100x2 MSRP $469
All of those amps are high quality units that will provide excellent performance and minimal distortion. Since you'll be running them well short of their rated power, even with the top down, you'll find they will likely run nice and cool. I don't know that I would try to run that 75x2 amp you've listed if you will be maxing it out. It's better to have a little more power than you need.
I've recommended a MMATS amp to one other poster here and once he finally got around to buying it, I think he was very pleased.
Good luck in your quest.

I have the MMATS sub amp, and yeah, it kicks ass. I'm not even using half of the 700w, and I have more than enough bass. I was about to sell my system (and my car), but I have decided not too. So now I have to reinstall everything!
