is it as easy as it looks on the s-pod website to install them and hide all the wires? about how long did it take you to do all that?

I would bet you could also hear a baseball bat hitting the speakers, but that is not good, is it? J/K. I know what you mean....that is my setup for now, and why I invested in S-pods, just to be audible at highway speeds.

They take about 20-45 minutes to install (depending on experience and wire connection technique (solder vs. crimp)). I recommend reverse mounting the speakers, as some will contact the cover if mounted normally. No biggie, though. Mark does not recommend splitting the roll hoops to hide the wires anymore (apparently they break REALLY easy and are pretty expensive to replace). he does provide you with "wire concealers" that are like little tubes that are either black or red (your choice) that run from S-pods to the little air vent. Its all of like 2-3"....so its not really visible to begin with. I would imagine you could just as easily drill a 1/4" hole in the top of the roll hoop trim to just drop it in there, if you are anal about it, and dont really care about a tiny little hole (I will be doing this when I change the speakers out for Alphasonik components).
