I blew one of the two speakers tonight after owning the car for less than a week. Does anyone have any suggestions on what make and model speaker to replace the stock door speakers? Also, I would like an MP3 player, anyone have experience removing the stereo and putting something decent ?

sony and infinity make some nice replacement speakers. check out electronics section.

 

if you plan to run stock deck for awhile, then just get ANY branded 6 1/2 " replacement with a good sensitivity level so you get get more sound per watt of power from the stock deck. in my experience, ANY 2 or 3 way speaker will improve the stock system.

Sorry about your speaker, but its a good excuse to get rid of the POS stock speakers anyways.
