ive read around and people have said that the stock speakers in the 04 and 05's are adequate. i was looking to upgrade the hu though as the radio quality is horrible but the cd audio is okay. ive been lookin around and i found the Sony CDX-M8815X with the 24bit burr brown dac for around $250. anybody have any experience with sony hu's? would this be a worthwhile upgrade to my sound system? or just a stepping stone

 

Depends what you are really after. If you are looking for a little better performance than replace the H/U and get some speakers that are setup for H/U RMS and be done with it. If you are looking to greatly improve the sound, you are looking at installing an amp....
