Default MacGyver's Footwell Tubes

Got my tubes, but I'm a little gunshy about which wires to tap. Mostly the maplight and door pin. Anybody got any instal pix or usefull info? Mac's instructions are good, but not necessarily S specific. I'm a little slow sometimes. Thanks

I'm sure Mac will see this and give you the info you need.

When you remove the cover next to your left leg (the one with the hood latch in it), look at the plug closest to you... I think the door pin wires were pale green and pale gree w/white stripe. To make sure, remove the screw for the door pin on each side and pull it out enough to see the wire color conected to it.

For the maplights, I can't remember which side of the diode (towards the outside of the car, or towards the center) I tapped off of. If memory serves, one side has 12V all of the time, then it's brought to ground when the light is on.

Since both door pin and light are active low, you'll need to connect both of them to the active-low pin through two diodes. Like this:
