Default Making Spare Tire Bulge Gone

Can somebody tell me what they did to get rid of the spare tire bulge in the trunk? I dont have a spare tire and I was thinking that I would like to mount two subs along the wall where the spare tire compartment is. Has anybody that doesnt run with the spare tire in, converted their trunk into one flat wall? Let me know if you dont know what im talking about. Im having a hard time explaining myself. Thanks!

i replaced the spare tire cover with a flat panel that i cut out of "pegboard" and carpeted. then i mounted my amps on that area, ill see if i can get a pic. it was a really easy mod.

edit, here is a pic, sorry about the quality, tomorrow ill remove my amp and see if i can get a better one

all i did was basically trace the spare tire cover onto the flat pegboard, cut it out, and drill 3 holes for the pins that hold it, and carpet it. took maybe an hour to make.
