Would I pay $600? Hmm. Probably not. Maybe $450. They are really audiophile quality speakers. By which the sound quality is comparable to my home speakers which are B&Ws and cost $500/piece of which I have 6.

I currently have the Focal Polyglass 165CV coaxials and additional tweeters in my S2K. I'm impressed with the clarity and quality. However, I'm thinking of moving up to the kevlar series and getting the 165KP's as they will give me more volume, more mid-bass and a little bit more clarity.

If you can afford the kevlar series, I do recommend the 165KP's or (even better) the 165K2P's. I've heard that the utopia series are a waste in our cars, as you won't be able to tell the difference in sound quality due to the top down and such. And they are expensive!!

However, the new 165K2P's come with a utopia tweeter, so it's definitely the best bang for the buck in comparison.

All of these mentioned are 6.5" inch with one-inch tweeters. They fit well and sound DAMN good. And you don't need a ton of power to make them sound good and get good volume (75-125w) is perfect (depending on which model you get).
