Default Memphis & Elemental Designs amps

Does anyone have any opinions about Memphis or Elemental Designs amps?
They both make small-sized 4-channel amps that look suitable for a stealth install.
Thanks!

i would go with memphis over the ED amps. the ED build quality of the amps are cheesy.

but i am partial to good build quality though.

maybe someone else can chime in on it.

Yeah, the Memphis amps are solid. I had mine running 500x1 at 2ohms to a PPI Pro sub in my daily driver. Nice small footprint plus it comes with the external bass controller. (At least the mono sub amps do.)

I like Memphis, good sound for the package size. I have had no experience with Elemental Design.

I have Memphis MC2004, 4-channel 50W/ch amp under driver seat without interference to the seat adjustments.

50W/ch is RMS, and this is 2004 model, the newer 2005 has different model numbers. I bought mine at Indoaudio on Ebay. Actually, I live close to them, and I walked in and bought it at their warehouse.

Nicotunes,
If you are interest with this Memphis 4-channel amp, I can let you have it for cheap. I bought a 2-channel Boston amp a few weeks back but did not have a change to install in my S. Since you are in Long Beach, which is not far from Irvine (about 30 minutes drive), you can audition this Memphis amp in my S if you like. PM me if you are interest.
