Thanks jwa4378,

Nicotunes will come to my house to audit my system this Saturday. If he does not like what he saw, I will PM you on Monday. Box and owner manual of the Memphis amp is still in my garage's closet. Where do you live ?

I live in FL, so meeting is out of the question. I am just looking for a decent amp that is small enough to mount under the seat for the cabin speakers, for a good price. Let me know how it goes.

Hi jwa4378 ,

The reason I was asking where you are to estimate the shipping cost and how long it will take to ship a package by ground from California to where you are.
I will let you know one way or the other how it goes no later than Monday.

Off topic, how was hurrican Dennis treated you ? Are you okay ?
Few weeks ago, we had several earthquakes in California and now Floridian are having hurricans.

oth-sorry for jacking the thread....hope everything works out.

TR-S2K- Yeah, Dennis was not bad...compared to Ivan. We did not get a lot of anything other than some minor winds and about 6" or rain. My pool looks like a damn bog now! We had some downed trees, but that was pretty much all the wind damage. The coast really got hammered by the surge. St. marks, a wildlife sanctuary and little town on the St. Marks River was under 7' of water for 2 days. The whole town was pretty much ruined. It was not as bad as it could have been, as Dennis was a fast moving storm....now to turn our attention to Emily.

John

ps-my dad is in Sacramento, and has been for 2 weeks. He says there is some kinda heat wave going on....like 100+.

don't worry, I didn't feel like anyone hijacked the thread, just
hadn't had chance to thank the people who chimed in w/ info.
and now that I have dealt with my misbehaving Audi, I can
get back to planning my s2k audio upgrade.

I have it mounted in the spare tire well on a 1/4" plywood rack along with an Rockford Fosgate BD500.1, 1farad cap and a distribution block. It "just" fits.
