Default Blew my aftermarket components - advice for best replacements?

Hey everybody,

I just bought an '04 and it came with an aftermarket stereo. After just a few short weeks, the passenger side speaker blew so I'm on the hunt for replacements. I'm not an audiophile but I really enjoy good sound while I'm driving...especially in my S2k. Could you guys take a look at the pictures of my amp/sub setup and give me some recommendations for quality components? A gentleman from the local S2k community is installing my new softop this Wed, but has also agreed to replace the components if I can source some in time. I would really appreciate your input. Thanks in advance!

Sub is okay? Just the passenger side door speaker is bad? I just replace that one, and go from there --- after listening to new door speaker.

I like Focal component speakers. But, they are $$$. Just an FYI.

Yea the sub is fine. If anything I have to look into how I can keep the hatch from rattling. But thanks for the Focal suggestion - I'll ask about them!

I went with these and am very happy. I think I used a 1/2 inch spacer places over some dynamat and had no issues. Powering them with Sony head unit. No amp no sub and they sound pretty good.

You have sufficient power to drive pretty much any component speaker, so your choice will really come down to what
sounds best to you and how much you'd like to spend. That said, the amps are good quality and not cheap, so I'd
imagine the current door speakers are good, so if you (were) happy with the sound, you could either replace just
the blown speaker or the pair.
