Does anyone know if I can use one of the moded DCI units with the factory head unit on my 2002 s2k? I'd love to be able to change discs (cd changer), go to previous tracks and increase volume on acceleration without changing my HU. Reason I don't want to change the HU is becaus eI bought the car and it already had a OEM changer in it as well.. I would see it as a waste if I threw those out and a head ache to remove the Changer and changer cable.

Any insight?

The DCI converts the dash signal to an IR signal and relays it to the headunit.....no way this happens on the OEM unit.
