Modifry compatibility

I want to sell my wired modifry to someone who have bought a new pioneer HU(DEH-P4200UB). Its not on the list on the modifry site but the list was last updated in 2009. How can I know that his HU is working??

I know in the case of Sonys, the presence of the physical connector for the remote is the best indicator.
