Default Modifry wired DCI help for pioneer

Ok, so the description says this:

Pioneer Wired DCI - controls Pioneer head units equipped with a 1/8" stereo jack and compatible with the Pioneer CD-MR70 remote. Please verify your HU is compatible with the CD-MR70 before ordering this unit.

I just bought the pioneer DEH-P8MP and just wanted to make sure that it will work with this. I am assuming it will, but the whole "Please verify your HU is compatible with the CD-MR70 before ordering this unit" throws me off. My radio will be ok with this right?

Thanks,

Jon

Modifry's DCI works great with my DEHP80MP, which is a very similar model, and according to Modifry's web site it should work for a DEHP8MP too:

You should also consider getting the wiring harness adapter with the DCI because it contains more wires that you will need. Don't connect the ATT lead from he HU at all, as the DCI takes care of that, and see my thread about 'orange confusion'

Yeah, good idea I'll check it out. Thanks for your help. I spoke with Bob at modifry and all is good with it. For some reason I did not see it on the site oh well. Got to order now.

Thanks,

Jon

Yep, every 15 MPH up & down. Really really annoying. Finally had to unplug it.

Yes, I hate the speed volume control on any car. I am getting this installed at a shop. What should I tell them to make sure not to hook it up? Also, what it the best diagram I can give them for the install?

Thanks,

Jon
