More annoying advertisements

More annoying advertisements
Am I the only one who thinks this is going too far?
It's bad enough we now have to put up with ads at the top of the page where "Click here for S2000 Accessories" takes you to a page with nothing but Miata parts, but now we have to be constantly annoyed by double-underlined hyper-links all over the individual posts. The one I just saw for "S2000" is advertising network managment tools and spftware utilities. Gee, that's something I'm really interested in seeing on my S2000.

sun of a beech. It looks like my membership expired AGAIN. It would be nice (not to mention good business) if S2KI notified it's members when their membership is about to expire. This is annoying too (I'm in a mood to be annoyed today), not that it will do any good to complain.

it's amazing what you guys don't see, heh? 
*sigh* cthree may actually be trying to overwhelm us w/ ads to get us to join. i suppose pop-ups are next. 
(actually, the text ads aren't too intrusive relatively speaking. if it makes Erik a few extra bucks -- so be it.)

the funny thing? i just looked. Bob mentioned the word Miata once on this page, and we now have a several Miata related advertising links showing up... i wonder if i can get all Miata related links if i mention the word Miata enough times in my post? that'd be pretty ironic and might even just work... right now, there's a Miata turbo link, a Miata parts link, and another Miata link that i didn't take enough note of before i hit edit...

(actually, i've ranted on a few occassions regarding this topic... so i won't go off on this again.)
bummer, my Miata quotient was way lower on that last view. clearly there are too few mentions of Miata to trigger the content. i still can't help but wonder if more Miata mentions would shift the content further from S 2 0 0 0 and more towards Miata advertisements.
