Default Mounting amp against back wall

How do you mount an amp to the back wall of your trunk? Where are good places to drill holes for bolts?

you have to put MDF on the back of it and then drill the screws through the carpet and into the mdf

carpet clips holding up an amp and the MDF mounting board?

you'll probably need to screw the MDF to the body and/or bolt it using the holes for the carpet clips... i'm hoping that is what Squeezer was suggesting...

(i know i remember someone who had a setup like this and who posted pics of the whole thing pulled apart, but i can't remember who did it... i'm still searching and will update when i find it... but for now, work calls... )

check out this thread for lots of good pics on mounting amps vertically in that location, and a set of pictures showing how one was mounted.

Here's a detail of mine:

I love it. Feels like I haven't really lost any useful trunk space.
